About this car
1949 Ford F1 Pickup at Hanksters in Hwy S Homer City, PA, $55,900. Teal over Teal, Turbo 350 Automatic
What the photos show
- Turquoise '49 F-1 pickup — all 16 photos in the sample are exterior walk-around shots in the seller's showroom (the lead frame carries a 'Hanksters Certified Vehicle' badge graphic).
- The paint is glossy and even, the grille bars and bumpers are bright, and the wood bed floor is visible and tidy in the rear shots.
- The cab interior is never photographed beyond a glimpse through the glass, so it can't be judged properly.
- The engine bay is never photographed — flathead or swap, the photos don't say.
- The underside is never photographed, so the frame and cab floors can't be judged at all.
Money: at $55,900 the outside is show-finished, but an F-1's value sits in its cab floors, frame and engine — none of which appears in a single frame — so get those photos before paying.
