1949 Cadillac Series 62

• Warning on the gallery itself: of the 17 frames, only about 10 show this 1949 Cadillac — the rest are other Cadillacs (two Allanté convertibles, a 1957 sedan) and 'more photos coming soon' banners, so judge only the grey convertible frames.
• In those frames the light-grey paint is glossy, panels are straight and the big chrome grille and bumpers shine, on wide whitewalls with the black soft top up and tidy.
• Red leather interior photographs well — bench seat with light creasing, clean dash and wheel, red carpets; no close-up to judge stitching or cracks.
• Engine bay is honest and working rather than show-detailed: blue-painted V8 with period hardware, some grime and surface ageing on ancillaries.
• One low shot under the rear shows dark underbody components with surface corrosion visible — can't judge floors or frame properly from that single glimpse; no lift set exists.
• The top is never shown down and the boot/trunk interior never appears — can't judge either.

Money: $69,900 for a '49 Series 62 convertible is real money, and this polluted gallery proves less than it should — the car in its own frames looks handsome, but the underside and top mechanism need in-person proof before paying it.
