What the photos show
- Gunmetal-grey paint is glossy and even over every panel in the showroom set, with straight sides and tidy gaps — no paint or body budget from these photos.
- Chrome is a strong point: bumpers, grille and the wire wheels with wide whitewalls all photograph bright and clean.
- Both tops are photographed — the black soft top up in one frame and the colour-matched porthole hardtop fitted in another — and both look taut and tidy at this distance.
- The red interior only shows through the glass in these 16 — it looks bright and complete, but seat wear and stitching can't be judged without a cabin close-up.
- Trunk is clean and correctly finished in the plaid liner with the spare mounted — no rust or water staining visible.
- No engine-bay photo and no underside photo appear in the 16 viewed — the mechanical side can't be judged from these.
Money: at $44,999 the outside, chrome and trunk support the ask for a '57 Bird — the engine bay and underside are unseen, so get those photos before treating it as fully sorted.
