About this car
1957 Ford Thunderbird at Streetside Classics in Phoenix, AZ, $112,995. Colonial White over None, 49,362 miles, None
What the photos show
- White paint is glossy and straight, chrome is bright, and it wears wide whitewalls; the porthole hardtop is shown fitted and the car is also shown with it removed.
- Engine bay is photographed repeatedly: a Y-block wearing the big dual-quad 'batwing' air cleaner and finned Thunderbird valve covers — the E-code-style setup, detailed and tidy.
- Photos show the dual-quad hardware, but an E-Bird's premium is in its data plate and numbers, which aren't readable here — decode them in person.
- Interior never appears in the 16 viewed beyond glimpses through glass — can't judge the seats or dash.
- The soft top is never shown, and the underside doesn't appear either — both can't be judged.
Money: at $112,995 the body and dual-quad bay photograph beautifully; the cabin, soft top, underside and the data-plate check are what stand between these photos and the ask.
