About this car
1964 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu Wagon at GR Auto Gallery in Grand Rapids, MI, $44,900. Silver/Purple over Gray, 31,839 miles, Automatic
What the photos show
- Silver-over-purple custom two-tone paint is glossy with straight panels on this '64 wagon, the purple stripe edges clean, roof rack fitted and chrome bumpers bright.
- The seller photographs three tiny paint chips with a ruler card — one at the front fender/hood edge, one at the cowl and one at the A-pillar — small, disclosed, and cheap to touch in.
- Interior is a full custom job: modern bucket seats, centre console with screens, black door cards and trim all photograph fresh and well fitted.
- It sits lowered on polished five-spoke wheels with low-profile tyres — a restomod wagon stance, not stock.
- No engine-bay photo and no underside photo appear in the 16 viewed — what powers it and what the floors look like can't be judged from these.
Money: at $44,900 the custom paint and cabin photos justify the ask for a restomod wagon — but with no engine photo at all, get the bay and underside before paying.
