About this car
1965 Ford Mustang at Unique Classic Cars in Bassett Dr Mankato, MN, $12,900. White over Interior Color Aqua, 77,063 miles, Automatic
What the photos show
- Body and paint: the cream-white finish looks smooth and glossy in the showroom set, panels straight, chrome bright, on styled-steel wheels — a tidy presentation at this distance.
- Interior: the turquoise-and-white Pony interior is photographed in depth and looks fresh — seats, door cards and carpets all clean, with an under-dash air-conditioning unit fitted and a wood-rim wheel.
- Engine bay: not photographed in the 16 viewed — and at this price that matters, because the VIN's fifth digit (six vs V8) is what decides whether the ask is cheap or right.
- Underside: not photographed in the 16 viewed either, so floors and torque boxes can't be judged from this set.
Money: at $12,900 the cosmetics photograph well above the price — if the unseen engine is a V8 and the floors are sound this is a bargain; if it's a six with tired floors, it's priced exactly right.
