About this car
1966 Chevrolet Chevelle at Vanguard Motor Sales in Keel St. Plymouth, MI, $159,900. None over None, None
What the photos show
- Red paint is deep and glossy over straight panels, the black vinyl top looks taut, and SS396 badging with chrome Cragar-style wheels and raised-letter tyres completes a sharp '66 SS.
- Underside is properly photographed on a lift and looks fresh: a new fuel tank, clean floors, a tidy dual exhaust and blue shock absorbers — no rust or damage showing anywhere underneath.
- Chrome bumpers, grille and lamps are bright in the close-ups; panel fit looks even all round.
- Interior never appears in the 16 viewed — can't judge seats, dash or carpets at all.
- Engine bay from above doesn't appear either — the motor can only be seen from underneath in the lift shot, so its presentation can't be judged.
- One of the 16 frames is a dealer service advert, not a photo of the car.
Money: at $159,900 the body and the documented-clean underside carry most of the ask; the unseen cabin and engine bay are the last two boxes to tick in person.
