About this car
1966 Chevrolet Chevelle at Volo Auto Museum Sales in Volo Village Rd. Volo, IL, $1,000. Maroon over Maroon, 4 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Maroon paint is glossy and the two-door sedan panels photograph straight in the studio set; chrome is bright and it sits on polished slot-style wheels.
- Red bench interior is restored in stock style — seats and door cards crisp — with a tall floor shifter for the automatic and a column-mounted Sun tach.
- One from-below photo shows an orange-sumped V8, headers and a clean painted front subframe, but the engine bay from above is never photographed in the 16 viewed, and the floors and rear underside can't be judged from that single angle.
Money: the $1,000 in the data is a placeholder, not an ask — this photographs as a finished, high-quality build, so get the real price from the seller and see the bay and a lift view before valuing it.
