About this car
1966 Chevrolet Chevelle at Volo Auto Museum Sales in Volo Village Rd. Volo, IL, $124,998. Red over Black, 4 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Red paint is glossy and even with straight panels; chrome is bright and the redline tyres on chrome wheels are clean.
- Black interior looks very good — seats and door cards tidy, with a knee-knocker tach fitted — though the woodgrain dash strip shows lacquer crazing in the repeated knob close-ups.
- The black top is only shown folded under its boot, so its condition can't be judged; several of the final frames repeat the same dash detail instead of mechanical views.
- No engine-bay photo and no underside in the 16 viewed — can't judge either from these.
Money: body and cabin broadly support the $124,998 ask; the engine bay, underside and raised top are the checks before paying.
