About this car
1966 Chevrolet Chevelle at GR Auto Gallery in Plainfield, IN, $69,900. Blue over Black, 3,688 miles, 5-Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Bright-blue paint is glossy and straight on every panel in the 16 viewed, black vinyl roof tidy, chrome bumpers bright, sitting on black steel wheels — a sharp restomod presentation.
- The lift photo is the standout: floors painted body-blue to a mirror finish with a polished dual exhaust — an underside detailed to show standard, no rust or bodge visible anywhere.
- Black interior is fresh throughout — bench and door cards crisp in close-up, and the dash is a brushed panel of AutoMeter Pro-Comp gauges, so this is a built car, not a stock restoration.
- It wears an 'SS 427' grille badge, but engine bay: can't judge — no engine photo appears in the 16 viewed, so the engine the badge advertises is never actually shown.
- Trunk: not shown in the sample either — can't judge its finish or the spare/tools.
Money: $69,900 buys a beautifully finished underside and cabin on the photos, but a 427-badged Chevelle with no engine photo in the set still needs the hood opened before the price makes sense.
