What the photos show
- Black '66 GTO hardtop at Unique Classic Cars — checked frame by frame, all 16 photos are this car (a clean Unique gallery); paint is deep gloss black, panels straight, chrome bright.
- Interior fills most of the sample: the seats and door cards have been retrimmed in grey cloth rather than factory vinyl — comfortable-looking and tidy, but not the original Morrokide a numbers buyer expects.
- The odometer close-up reads 10,852 — a figure the photos alone can't tie to the car's real history.
- Engine bay is never photographed in the 16 viewed — the 389 is the car, and it goes unseen.
- Underside is never photographed in the 16 viewed.
- No PHS documentation is photographed, so GTO authenticity rests on paperwork outside the gallery.
Money: at $62,900 the black paint photographs superbly, but with a cloth retrim, no bay photo and no PHS in evidence, the price needs documents before it needs polish.
