About this car
1967 Chevrolet Camaro at Volo Auto Museum Sales in Volo Village Rd. Volo, IL, $154,998. Red over Black, 6L80E Overdrive Auto
What the photos show
- Candy-red paint is deep and mirror-glossy over a smoothed, de-badged body — shaved handles, flush glass, custom front valance — and the panels look laser-straight in the studio set.
- Interior is a full custom build: black leather with red contrast stitching across seats, doors and console, modern white-face gauges, a touchscreen head unit and a billet switch panel — everything shown looks brand new.
- The convertible top is only ever shown folded under its boot — the fabric raised never appears, so top condition and fit can't be judged.
- No engine-bay photo in the 16 viewed, and no underside or trunk either — the mechanical side of the build is unphotographed in this sample.
- Several of the final frames repeat close-ups of the stereo and switch panel — gadget detail rather than condition evidence.
Money: the finish inside and out supports the $154,998 ask for a fresh restomod; what the photos can't support is the drivetrain — see the engine bay and underside before paying it.
