About this car
1967 Pontiac GTO at Streetside Classics in Phoenix, AZ, $62,995. Signet Gold over None, 48,062 miles, 3 Speed Automatic
What the photos show
- Gold '67 GTO hardtop with black vinyl top at Streetside Phoenix — glossy paint, straight panels, bright chrome and Rally wheels; the exterior photographs as a sharp, restored car.
- Engine bay is photographed twice and is a step behind the paint: corrosion on the radiator support and battery tray area, rusty exhaust manifolds, general grime — an honest driver bay, not a show detail.
- Black interior looks tidy and correct — buckets, woodgrain dash, clean door card photographed; the cluster reads 40,642.
- One low rear shot shows the black-painted rear underside and tank, but there is no full lift underside set in the 16 viewed.
- No PHS documentation is photographed, so the GTO's authenticity rests on paperwork outside the gallery.
Money: at $62,995 the cosmetics say restored and the bay says driver — reconcile the two with a PHS report and a lift inspection before paying the restored price.
