About this car
1968 Chevrolet Camaro at Unique Classic Cars in Bassett Dr Mankato, MN, $56,900. Yellow over Interior Color Black, 95,492 miles, 4 Speed Automatic
What the photos show
- Yellow '68 Camaro SS with black stripes and a black vinyl roof (Unique Classic Cars showroom) — frame by frame, all 16 photos in the sample are of this car; no foreign frames this time.
- The paint is glossy and the panels straight; the vinyl roof looks clean and tight in the overhead shots.
- The black-and-houndstooth interior fills most of the sample and looks freshly redone — seats, door cards, console with auxiliary gauges and a 4-speed with a white knob; the odometer reads 55,268 in the seller's gauge close-up.
- The engine bay is never photographed in the 16 viewed, so the SS's engine can't be checked — on a '68 the cowl tag and engine stampings are the proof, not the SS badges.
- The underside is never photographed, so the floors and subframe can't be judged.
Money: at $56,900 the cosmetics and cabin photograph like a finished car — the ask stands or falls on the engine and the underside, and neither is in this photo set.
