About this car
1968 Dodge Charger at Vanguard Motor Sales in Keel St. Plymouth, MI, $249,900. Red over - Black Vinyl Interior - Front Bucket, 25 miles, 3 Speed Automatic
What the photos show
- The red paint is deep, glossy and straight from every turntable angle, the black vinyl top is tight, bumblebee stripes are crisp, and the chrome and grille are flawless — two of the 16 frames are dealer advert cards, not the car.
- Engine bay is shown and it's a strength: a turquoise big-block under a Magnum air cleaner in a painted, detailed bay with fresh hoses and correct-style hardware — restored, not just cleaned.
- Interior can't be judged — no cabin photo appears in the 16 viewed; it's only glimpsed through the glass.
- Underside can't be judged — it doesn't appear in the 16 viewed, and on a '68 Charger the floors, torsion-bar crossmember and rear rails are where the money hides.
Money: at $249,900 the outside and the bay look like the real thing — but an R/T at this level lives on documentation (fender tag, numbers, build sheet) plus the unseen interior and underside, so verify all three before the price is real.
