1968 Chevrolet Chevelle

• Gallery warning: of the 17 frames, five show other cars entirely (a maroon '68 Chevelle convertible, a yellow stepside pickup, a red '72 Chevelle) and two are 'more photos coming soon' banners — judge only the black coupe frames.
• In those, the black paint is glossy and straight, chrome bumpers bright, on polished five-spoke wheels — black shows everything, and at these distances it looks honest.
• Engine bay is tidy and stock-style: orange 396 with the Turbo-Jet air cleaner, clean black inner wings, no bodges visible.
• Black bench-seat interior photographs clean and unworn — seats, dash, wheel and Chevelle mats all tidy; it's a floor-shift car.
• One low underside glimpse shows the frame and exhaust with surface patina — solid-looking at that angle, but a single glimpse can't judge floors properly.

Money: $68,900 is fair '68 SS 396 ground if the floors match the bay and cabin — the polluted gallery proves less than it should, so the lift check is on the buyer.
