About this car
1968 Ford Mustang at Vanguard Motor Sales in Keel St. Plymouth, MI, $449,900. Pepper Gray over None, 419 miles, 5 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Pepper Grey paint is mirror-glossy and even all over, black stripes straight, gaps tight — no paint budget from these photos.
- The engine bay is the standout: polished stack-style injection, braided lines and bright hardware, all immaculate — no detailing spend there.
- Modern multi-spoke wheels are unmarked and the tires look fresh with deep tread — no wheel or tire spend.
- Glass, lights and the Eleanor body panels all look clean and well aligned in the many exterior angles.
- The interior only shows through the glass in the 16 viewed — seats and dash can't be judged.
- No true underside photos in the 16 viewed — just a low rear shot where the axle and exhaust look clean and dark; the floors can't be judged.
Money: at $449,900 the paint and engine bay support serious build money; the interior and underside are effectively unseen in this sample and need a look before paying it.
