About this car
1969 Chevrolet Chevelle at Volo Auto Museum Sales in Volo Village Rd. Volo, IL, $98,998. Blue over Parchment, 4 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Blue paint is glossy and even in the exterior frames, panels straight, SS badging and chrome bright; the top is down in every shot, so the soft top itself is never seen.
- Interior is cream vinyl, photographed in depth front and rear and looking fresh: wood-rim wheel, a Muncie 4-speed shifter and auxiliary gauges under the dash; the speedometer shows 27,273 miles.
- The only engine view is from underneath — an orange sump and black subframe in a clean, detailed front underside photo; the rest of the underside can't be judged from that one frame.
- Engine bay from above can't be judged — no top-side engine photo appears in the 16 viewed, so what the engine looks like under the hood is unseen.
- Several of the final frames are repeat gauge close-ups, filler rather than additional coverage.
Money: at $98,998 for an SS convertible, the paint and cabin photograph well, but the soft top is never raised and the engine is only seen from below — see both in person before paying the ask.
