What the photos show
- Silver paint with black stripes is glossy and even, the stripes run true over the cowl hood and decklid, and the black vinyl top looks taut in the close-ups — a crisp '70 SS396 presentation.
- Engine bay appears once: an orange big-block whose air cleaner carries the 396 Turbo-Jet 350hp decal, tidily detailed in a black bay.
- Chrome Cragar-style wheels with BFGoodrich raised-letter tyres suit the car; bumpers and SS trim are bright and straight.
- Interior never appears in the 16 viewed — can't judge seats, dash or carpets at all.
- Underside is glimpsed only from low rear angles: the ribbed fuel tank, exhaust and axle look clean, but there's no full underside photo to judge floors from.
- Two of the 16 frames are dealer adverts, not photos of the car.
Money: at $169,900 the outside and the one bay shot support a top restored SS396 — the unseen interior and floors are the checks that remain before the ask is fully backed by evidence.
