About this car
1970 Chevrolet Chevelle at Vanguard Motor Sales in Keel St. Plymouth, MI, $229,900. None over None, None
What the photos show
- A black-on-black '70 Chevelle SS restomod: the paint is bottomless and straight, ghost stripes run over the cowl hood, chrome is mirror-bright, and it sits over polished multi-spoke wheels (one of the 16 frames is a dealer advert card).
- The one engine-bay photo shows the swap plainly — an LS V8 with red valve covers and a big black intake in a clean black bay; there's an 'LS' badge on the fender, so nothing here pretends to be a 454.
- Low rear photos show a finished underside at the tail — ribbed tank, clean hardware, tidy exhaust.
- Interior can't be judged — no cabin photo appears in the 16 viewed; it's only glimpsed, dark, through tinted glass.
Money: at $229,900 this is restomod money honestly presented — LS power, show paint, finished tail — but the unseen cabin is a quarter of the car, so get interior photos and the full spec before the price stops being negotiable.
