About this car
1970 Pontiac GTO at GR Auto Gallery in Grand Rapids, MI, $53,900. Red over White, 98,037 miles, 4-Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Red paint is glossy and straight across the walk-around, with a Judge-style rear wing; the seller even photographs a ruler along the hood seam, and the gaps look even.
- Close-up of the front corner shows the Endura nose/bumper seam cracked and scuffed around the parking lamp — the one visible body flaw in the set, and Endura repair is not cheap.
- Chrome rear bumper photographs bright; black Rally wheels and trim are tidy.
- White interior photographs very clean: seats, door cards and headliner all look fresh with no visible splits or sagging, and the black carpets are tidy.
- Trunk photos show a black-coated floor with light surface-rust spotting at the edges — cosmetic, but worth a closer look in person.
- Engine bay doesn't appear in the 16 viewed, and there's no underside photo either — the mechanical half of the car is unseen.
Money: at $53,900 the body and interior carry the ask; price in the Endura nose repair, and don't pay GTO money until you've seen the engine bay and underside this sample never shows.
