About this car
1970 Ford Mustang at Volo Auto Museum Sales in Volo Village Rd. Volo, IL, $112,000. None over None, 4 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Only 12 of the 16 sampled photos loaded; the note is based on those 12.
- Yellow paint is glossy and straight with black Boss stripes, rear louvers and a wing; chrome is bright and it sits on Magnum 500s.
- Engine bay is among the loaded frames: a blue Boss 302 with the shaker-style air box in a black bay — tidy driver quality.
- Black interior looks good overall, but the Hurst shifter handle shows surface corrosion in close-up — a small tell that the cabin isn't freshly restored.
- The dash VIN plate is photographed and carries the 0F02G prefix — the G engine code is what makes it a Boss 302; decode the full number and the drivetrain stamps in person.
- Underside isn't among the loaded frames — can't judge the floors or rails.
Money: at $112,000 the paint and bay photograph well and the VIN shows the right code; pay Boss money only after the numbers are verified in person and the underside has been on a lift.
