About this car
1971 Dodge Demon at GR Auto Gallery in Indianapolis Welcome to our "Gallery Guarantee" here at GR Auto Gallery., None, $34,900. Orange over Black, 5,306 miles, Automatic
What the photos show
- Orange paint is bright and glossy, but the photos show a full drag build, not a street car: roll cage through the cabin, racing buckets, a column-mounted tach and auxiliary gauges, hood scoop and a rear wing.
- Engine bay is photographed: a built V8 with an aluminium radiator and headers โ its displacement and build spec can't be judged from photos.
- Trunk holds the relocated battery; the lift underside set shows black-coated floors, frame connectors and dual exhaust with cut-outs.
- The photographed dash VIN plate appears to start LL29C, the six-cylinder code โ this Demon appears to have been born a slant-six car before the race build.
Money: at $34,900 price it as a used race car โ engine freshness and spec are unproven โ not as a born-340 Demon, because the VIN says it isn't one.

Ground-Up Restored Super Stock Indy 528ci HEMI V8 Built A727 Dana 60 Rear Axle /// Built from the ground up by SS/AFX (Super Stock and Factory Experimental), this 1969 Dodge Dart transforms the A-body's lightweight simplicity into a street-strip weapon. Finished in bright high-impact yellow, it's powered by a 528-cubic-inch Hemi built on an Indy aluminum block with Stage V heads and a Holley EFI system cleverly disguised as a cross-ram dual-carb setup. A Freddy Brown-built A727 Torqueflite with a trans brake, line lock, and full manual valve body sends power to a Dana 60 rear with 4.56 gears and a spool differential.
