About this car
1971 Pontiac Grand Prix Hurst SSJ at GR Auto Gallery in Plainfield, IN, $44,900. Cameo White / Hurst Gold accents over White, 1,328 miles, Automatic
What the photos show
- Same white-and-gold Hurst-style Grand Prix as the eBay listing in this price run — this dealer sample adds a lift underside shot and a VIN-plate photo the eBay sample skipped.
- Paint is glossy and even, chrome bright, gold-accent wheels with raised-letter tyres; 'SSJ' plate and Hurst badges are photographed, but badges are not proof of a genuine Hurst conversion — that's paperwork.
- White interior is very clean front and rear, trunk clean and carpeted with a covered spare.
- The one lift photo shows a clean, dry-looking underside with a tidy exhaust — no rust or damage visible at this angle.
- The gauge cluster is a modern digital unit whose odometer photo reads 001,329.8 — treat that as miles since the build, not the car's lifetime mileage.
- No engine-bay photo appears in the 16 viewed, here or in the eBay sample — the engine room remains unseen on both listings.
Money: at $44,900 the cosmetics and underside support the ask — verify the Hurst story with documents and see the engine bay before paying, because neither listing photographs it.
