About this car
1987 Chevrolet C10 at Volo Auto Museum Sales in Volo Village Rd. Volo, IL, $1,000. Black over None, 6 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Black-and-white two-tone '87 C10 restomod: mirror-gloss paint, straight panels, chrome grille and bumpers bright, lowered over large polished five-spoke wheels.
- Interior is a full custom retrim in black leather — buckets, console with cupholders, a long-handle manual shifter and Intellitronix gauges whose digital odometer reads 945, so those are build miles, not the truck's life.
- One from-below frame shows the underside freshly refinished: painted chassis, coilover suspension and a polished stainless dual exhaust, all clean and straight in that frame.
- Engine bay is never photographed in the 16 viewed — what powers it, and how the bay is finished, can't be judged.
- No VIN plate is photographed in the 16 viewed; the bed floor is only seen from outside, not inside.
Money: the $1,000 in the data is a placeholder, not a price — get the real ask, then open the hood and audit the build receipts in person before paying finished-restomod truck money.
