About this car
1987 Ford Mustang at Vanguard Motor Sales in Keel St. Plymouth, MI, $79,900. Black over None, 8,213 miles, 5 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Black paint with red GT striping is deep and glossy across the turntable set — the close-ups show straight reflections and no visible chips or scuffs.
- Turbine wheels are clean and the Goodyear Eagle tyres look fresh; panel gaps look even around the hatch and doors.
- The single engine-bay photo shows a stock-presenting 5.0 HO — factory intake, airbox and ancillaries all in place, honestly dusty rather than detailed, with no visible modifications.
- The interior is never photographed directly — it's only glimpsed through the glass, where the grey sport seats look intact; wear, dash cracks and carpet can't be judged.
- One of the 16 frames is a dealer advert graphic, not the car.
- No underside photo appears in the 16 viewed — can't judge floors or torque boxes, the Fox-body's known weak points, from below.
Money: at $79,900 — strong money for an '87 GT — the shell and stock bay photograph like a preserved car, but the unphotographed interior and underside are exactly what this money needs verified.
