About this car
1989 Ford Mustang GT at GR Auto Gallery in Grand Rapids, MI, $38,900. Oxford White over Red, 40,669 miles, 5-Speed Manual
What the photos show
- White paint with the red GT stripe is glossy and even all round, panels straight, headlight lenses clear rather than yellowed in the close-up, turbine wheels clean.
- Scarlet-red interior is photographed in depth and looks superb: tweed seats front and rear with no visible wear or fading, door cards and headliner equally fresh — the red cabin is the car's party piece and it presents like a low-use one.
- No engine-bay photo in the 16 viewed — can't judge the 5.0 or its bay from this sample.
- No underside photo — floors and torque boxes unseen, the standard Fox-body check still owed.
- No dashboard or odometer photo in the sample — the cluster, dash pad condition and mileage can't be verified from these photos.
Money: at $38,900 the paint and that red interior argue for strong Fox GT money, but with no engine, dash or underside photos the ask rests on the unseen half — verify those before paying it.
