1993 Cadillac Allante

• Three of the 14 frames are other Cadillacs — a red '76 Eldorado convertible, a dark blue Fleetwood coupe and a white Fleetwood Brougham — so only the red Allanté frames describe this car.
• Body and paint: the red finish looks glossy and straight in the showroom shots, with the black soft top up and tidy-looking; trim and badging present clean.
• Interior: the black leather seats look supple and well kept; the steering-wheel rim is polished shiny with wear, and there's a wooden crate sitting in the cabin in the interior shot.
• Engine bay: the Northstar 32-valve V8 is photographed clean and complete — this is the desirable final-year engine, shown rather than hidden.
• Underside: two low frames show surface rust on the exhaust and subframe hardware with the floors reading intact at this distance.

Money: at $14,900 a Northstar Allanté that photographs this tidy is near the top of Allanté money — the case rests on the electronics and top working, which photos can't prove, so test everything electrical before paying it.
