About this car
1965 Chevrolet Corvair Convertible listed on eBay in Milford, Connecticut. Listing shows 53,521 miles, Automatic transmission, RED exterior. Asking price $24,000 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Red paint is deep and glossy on every panel in the outdoor shots, chrome is bright, and the white soft top — photographed up — looks clean with a clear rear window.
- The 'All Restored' text burned into the lead photo is seller copy; what the photos themselves show is a very fresh-looking finish and trim, with wire wheel covers and whitewall tyres detailed in four of the final frames.
- White interior shows only in the final overhead photo: seats and dash look fresh and clean from that angle, but wear can't be judged closer than that.
- Engine can't be judged — the rear engine compartment is never opened in the 16 viewed.
- Underside can't be judged — no photo of it in the 16 viewed, and on a Corvair convertible the floors and rocker structure are the value.
Money: at $24,000 — strong money for a '65 Corvair Monza — the glossy outside supports a restored price, but the unseen engine, underside and close-up interior are exactly what has to check out in person.

This is a really nice 1965 Corvair Monza 4 speed. It runs great and the body is nice. It has a 4 speed transmission. Since 2016, it's been housed in the parking garage at the condo where I live. I drive it occasionally.

Vehicle Original VIN : 105675L122802 Super clean Corvair in attractive colors. Rare factory A/C. Recent service so it runs and drives extremely well. Power front disc brakes, power convertible top. Corvairs are under-rated and under-valued so now might be a great time to get in and have fun!Crocus Yellow with a gray and black interior is a slight variation on the original combination, but the simple Corvair bodywork seems to work best with lighter colors. The convertible is smartly designed with plenty of room for everyone on board and if you haven't driven one of these awesome little cars, you're in for a pleasant surprise.
