What the photos show
- Black paint is deep and glossy with straight red stripes; chrome bumpers and grille are bright, and the redline tyres on chrome wheels are clean.
- Engine bay is well detailed: orange 396 with a chrome air cleaner set in tidy black bay walls.
- Black interior looks excellent — the bench seats hold their shape, the door card carries the SS 396 emblem, and the headliner is taut.
- Three of the 16 sampled frames are dealer advert cards; there is no underside photo in this sample.
Money: body, bay and cabin all support the $127,998 ask; the underside is the one area left to check.
