About this car
1968 Dodge Super Bee listed on eBay in Morgantown, Pennsylvania. Listing shows 8,806 miles, Manual transmission, Yellow exterior. Asking price $52,000 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Pale yellow paint is glossy at distance and the panels look straight, riding on body-colour steel wheels with redline radials — a period-correct presentation.
- The seller's own macro close-ups are usefully honest: dirty seam sealer in the hood gap, a shallow dent readable in one door's reflection, dark staining along a lower body seam, and chipped, worn paint on the hood's underside.
- Engine bay shows a teal big-block with the Magnum pie-tin air cleaner — original-style and tidy, with a modern red-top battery the only obvious non-period piece.
- Trunk photo shows a painted floor and a steel spare — clean-looking at this distance.
- Interior doesn't appear in the 16 viewed — no cabin photo at all, so seats, dash and carpets can't be judged.
- Underside doesn't appear either, despite the car being photographed on a lift — the floors it would show are exactly what a buyer needs on a '68 B-body.
Money: at $52,000 the close-ups describe a handsome survivor-grade Bee rather than a flawless restoration — price it that way, and don't close until the interior and the lift underside have actually been seen.
