In 1969, when Chevrolet had a potent 427ci V8 on offer for the full size cars and Corvette, it was the rule that no engine larger than 400 ci could be fitted in a Camaro. But, some cunning Chevrolet dealers found a work around that became one of the most famous acronyms in automotive history.
