This 1969 Ford F250 Good Humor Ice Cream Truck sports a Hackney Brothers built body complete with a refrigerated storage compartment, and it has been completely restored to its former glory with vintage Good Humor Ice Cream livery! In the early 1920s, Harry Burt, the owner of an ice cream parlor in Youngstown, Ohio replicated the Eskimo Pie ice cream novelty. But after showing his version of the ice cream treat to his adult daughter, she suggested that it was too messy and Harry's son (Harry Jr.) suggested adding a wooden stick that could be used as a handle. The resulting product was then known as the "Good Humor Ice Cream Sucker" and the Burts sold their novelty through specially equipped trucks, complete with freezers and those iconic bells. |

What the photos show
- A Good Humor ice-cream truck: white paint is bright and glossy over cab and freezer box, panels straight, and the painted Good Humor signage and graphics look crisp in every angle.
- Engine bay is tidy: the inline-six is painted Ford blue with a matching air cleaner, clean black inner fenders, nothing scruffy visible.
- Cab gets one photo: big black wheel, plain dash and a diamond-plate floor — a working truck's cab, presentable but basic.
- The inside of the freezer box is never opened in the 16 viewed, so the refrigeration equipment and box interior can't be judged — a big unknown on an ice-cream truck.
- Underside: can't judge — no underbody photo in the 16 viewed.
Money: at $109,995 the value is the nostalgia and the presentation, and the outside photographs superbly; the working gear — freezer box and refrigeration — is unphotographed, so verify it operates before paying the premium.
