About this car
1970 Dodge Challenger R/T Convertible listed on eBay in Round Lake, Illinois. Listing shows Automatic transmission, Plum Crazy Purple exterior. Asking price $136,998 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Plum Crazy paint is glossy and straight with a black hood treatment, chrome is bright, and it sits on Magnum wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tyres.
- Black interior is photographed in depth and looks fresh — seats, woodgrain dash and console — and the odometer reads 33,029.
- The black convertible top is shown raised in the final frames and looks tight and clean, headliner tidy, rear window clear — a genuine plus, since most convertible listings never show the top up.
- Engine bay never appears in the 16 viewed — can't judge the engine at all.
- Underside doesn't appear in the 16 viewed either — can't judge the floors or chassis rails.
- Two of the 16 frames are dealer advert cards, not photos of the car.
Money: at $136,998 the paint, cabin and photographed top support the ask; the unseen engine bay and underside are the remaining checks at R/T convertible money.
