About this car
1971 Pontiac Grand Prix SS listed on eBay in Plainfield, Indiana. Listing shows 1,328 miles, Automatic transmission, Cameo White / Hurst Gold accents exterior. Asking price $45,110 on eBay.
What the photos show
- White paint with the gold hood, roof and deck treatment photographs glossy and even, panels straight with tidy gaps all round the showroom set.
- Chrome bumpers and trim are bright, and it sits on gold-accent wheels with raised-white-letter tyres — the Hurst-style look is carried through consistently.
- 'Hurst Equipped' badges are photographed on the fender and console, but badges alone don't prove a genuine Hurst SSJ conversion — that's paperwork, not photos.
- White vinyl interior is very clean: seats front and rear, door cards and carpets all photograph without visible wear, splits or staining.
- The gauge cluster is photographed lit up in red (an aftermarket touch), and the trunk is clean and carpeted with a covered spare.
- No engine-bay photo and no underside photo appear in the 16 viewed — the mechanical half of the car can't be judged from these.
Money: at $45,110 the cosmetics support the ask, but verify the Hurst connection with documents and see the engine bay before paying — photos here prove a tidy car, not the conversion.

Extremely rare, it's one of just 232 four-speeds produced out of 210,050 Grand Prixs built in 1979! It had just one owner until 2022 and only two owners total. The original owner was a Pontiac collector who clearly knew how special this car was. It's exceptionally well documented, including the original factory window sticker still attached to the glass, two build sheets, original glovebox manuals, correspondence from the original owner and Pontiac, and more.
