What the photos show
- Only ten photos make up the set — outside, cabin, one bay shot and the trunk — so the underside never appears at all.
- Body and paint: the green metallic is faded and patchy in the sunlight shots, though the long panels look straight and the chrome reads bright; Rally wheels fitted.
- Interior: the cabin is tired — the driver's seat bolster is split, the trim is sun-faded in two tones, and the floors are dirty; it needs a retrim, not a detail.
- Engine bay: photographed once — complete and stock-looking under dust and surface rust on the ancillaries.
- Trunk: carpeted with the covered spare in place, but the seal channel shows rust creeping along it.
Money: at $6,900 a '72 Grand Prix project with a straight-looking shell is honestly priced — the retrim and the unseen underside are the costs the photos can't total up.

Extremely rare, it's one of just 232 four-speeds produced out of 210,050 Grand Prixs built in 1979! It had just one owner until 2022 and only two owners total. The original owner was a Pontiac collector who clearly knew how special this car was. It's exceptionally well documented, including the original factory window sticker still attached to the glass, two build sheets, original glovebox manuals, correspondence from the original owner and Pontiac, and more.
