What the photos show
- Black paint is glossy in the grass photos and the body looks straight, T-top panels fitted, wheels clean — a sharp-looking turbo Regal at a distance.
- The roof tells a different story inside: the headliner is sagging and heavily water-stained with rust-coloured marking around the T-top area, which points to leaking T-top seals and time spent wet — check the floor pans and the roof frame before anything else.
- Centre console has the radio removed with exposed wiring hanging in the opening; the tan seats and dash otherwise look decent and complete.
- One low rear shot shows a clean-looking tank and newer exhaust; the final yard shot with the hood up shows a dusty, workaday turbo bay — the two sessions present the car very differently, so trust the grubbier one.
- Full underside can't be judged — only that low rear glimpse appears in the 16 viewed.
Money: at $17,500 a black T-Type is tempting, but the stained, sagging headliner says water has been getting in — the price only works if the floors and T-top frame are solid, so that inspection comes before any offer.
