By the late 1980s, the Mustang GT had earned a reputation for affordable V8 performance, and few cars capture that era better than a clean, unmodified Fox Body Mustang. This 1989 Mustang GT wears Oxford White paint, factory GT ground effects, and an impressively original appearance. With low miles and a five-speed manual transmission, it's a wonderful example of the Mustang's third generation. Under the hood is Ford's legendary 5.0-liter (302 cubic inch) fuel-injected V8, paired with a five-speed manual transmission. An 8.8-inch rear end with 3.08:1 limited-slip gearing delivers a nice balance of acceleration and highway cruising. |

About this car
1989 Ford Mustang GT listed on eBay in Saint Charles, Missouri. Listing shows 48,407 miles, Manual transmission, Oxford White exterior. Asking price $38,995 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Same white '89 GT hatchback as the Fast Lane dealer listing in this price band — this eBay sample is interior-heavy, so judge it on the cabin.
- White paint is glossy and even in the exterior frames, GT kit and louvred tail lights tidy, turbine wheels clean.
- Grey tweed cabin is photographed from every angle and looks near-unworn: seats front and rear crisp, door cards clean, dash uncracked, headliner tight; the 5-speed is factory, with a Kenwood head unit the only obvious non-original piece.
- The 1989 owner's guide is photographed on the seat — paperwork, but a good sign of a kept car.
- No engine-bay photo in this sample — can't judge the 5.0 from these 16 photos (the dealer listing of the same car shows a stock, tidy bay).
- No underside photo and no legible odometer close-up in this sample — floors, torque boxes and mileage can't be verified from the eBay set alone.
Money: at $38,995 — the same ask as the dealer's own listing — the interior supports top Fox money, but buy it off the combined photo sets and an underside look, not this interior-only sample.
