About this car
1989 Ford Mustang GT listed on eBay in De Witt, Iowa. Listing shows 33,689 miles, Automatic transmission, Black exterior. Current bid $777 on eBay.
What the photos show
- Black '89 Mustang GT hatchback in a dealer showroom: deep-gloss black with the red bodyside stripe, panels straight, chrome pony wheels polished — it presents like a pampered survivor at this distance.
- The hero photo's printed '33,000 original miles' banner is the dealer's graphic, not evidence: no odometer close-up is among the 16 viewed, so the mileage story can't be judged from the photos.
- Interior is red — leather-trimmed sport seats with cloth inserts, matching dash and carpets — and presents clean and unworn-looking, consistent with careful storage but not proof of it.
- The hood is open in one frame at whole-car distance; the 5.0 bay is never shown close, so its originality and condition can't be judged.
- Two frames are dealer advert graphics (a warranty offer and a purchase-process page), not photos of the car.
- Underside is never photographed in the 16 viewed — torque boxes and floor pans are the Fox-body check that matters.
Money: the $777 in the data is not a price for this car — it's a placeholder or deposit figure; get the real ask, then make the low-mile story prove itself with records and an odometer photo before paying low-mile GT money.
