About this car
1989 Ford Mustang listed on eBay in Fraser, Michigan. Listing shows 89,000 miles, Manual transmission, Dark Cherry exterior. Asking price $33,900 on eBay.
What the photos show
- The paint is a colour-shift purple metallic with a deep gloss — a custom repaint, not a factory 1989 colour — and the notchback sits lowered on polished wheels.
- Grey cloth interior is photographed in the final frames and looks clean; a 5-speed shifter is fitted.
- Engine bay is never photographed, so the 5.0's state and originality can't be judged.
- Underside is never photographed — strut towers and torque boxes, the Fox-body weak points, are unchecked.
Money: at $33,900 a 5.0 notchback with a manual is the desirable Fox, but the custom colour caps collector value and the unseen bay and torque boxes carry the risk.
