About this car
1951 Chevrolet 3100 at Unique Classic Cars in Bassett Dr Mankato, MN, $26,900. Blue over Interior Color Blue, 57,235 miles, 5 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Bright blue '51 Chevy 3100 at Unique Classic Cars; all 16 viewed frames are this truck — no foreign frames in the sample.
- Paint is glossy and the body looks straight, chrome grille and bumpers bright, polished wheels fitted; the finish is the strongest part of the truck in these photos.
- Interior is a step behind the paint: the blue bench vinyl has a mottled, aged look with loose aftermarket lap belts laid across it, and the footwell photo shows the lower firewall and floor in unrestored, rust-coloured condition.
- The wood bed is only glimpsed at the side of one frame; the bed floor is never photographed from above.
- Engine bay is never photographed in the 16 viewed — the engine can't be judged at all.
- Underside is never photographed — frame and cab mounts can't be judged.
Money: at $26,900 the glossy blue is doing the selling while the cab floor area photographs unrestored — see it on a lift and lift the floor mat before paying restored-truck money.
