About this car
1962 Chevrolet Corvette at Unique Classic Cars in Bassett Dr Mankato, MN, $69,900. Red over Interior Color Red, 96,589 miles, 4 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Red paint is deep and glossy on every panel in the 16 viewed, panels and the deck lid sit straight, and the chrome bumpers and grille shine — a freshly presented C1.
- Red interior is the strength of the set: seats, door cards, carpets and dash all photograph crisp and unworn at close range; the cluster reads 96,608 miles.
- The convertible top well behind the seats is clean painted red metal, and the final frame shows the off-white top raised and fitting evenly.
- Engine bay: can't judge — no engine photo appears in the 16 viewed, so the mechanical side of a 96,608-mile car is undocumented here.
- Underside: can't judge — no lift photo in the sample; on a C1 the frame and birdcage are the inspection that matters.
Money: $69,900 is fair ground for a red-on-red '62 that photographs this well inside and out, but the engine bay and frame still need eyes on them — the photos prove cosmetics, not the running gear.
