About this car
1996 Chevrolet Corvette at GR Auto Gallery in Indianapolis Welcome to our "Gallery Guarantee" here at GR Auto Gallery., None, $19,900. Torch Red over Black, 71,477 miles, Automatic
What the photos show
- Bright red paint is glossy and even, panels straight, sawblade alloys clean, and the rear glass and Targa panel look clear — a tidy C4 coupe in the showroom shots.
- The one flaw the seller measures is a tiny paint chip, small enough to need a ruler beside it — touch-in size.
- Black leather interior is clean: seats show only light creasing, door cards and dash are tidy, the carpets look fresh, and the cluster photo shows the digital display lit and reading.
- The VIN plate is photographed in the gallery, which helps a buyer verify the car before travelling.
- Engine bay can't be judged — it doesn't appear in the 16 viewed.
- Underside can't be judged — it doesn't appear in the 16 viewed.
Money: at $19,900 the photos make a strong cosmetic case for this late C4 — the remaining spend-risk is all mechanical (LT1 bay, weatherstrips, suspension), so that's where the pre-buy inspection earns its fee.
