About this car
1996 Chevrolet Corvette Grand Sport Convertible listed on eBay in Marietta, Georgia. Listing shows 19,385 miles, Manual transmission, Blue exterior. Asking price $34,979 on eBay.
What the photos show
- All 16 photos in this sample are exterior — Admiral-blue paint with the white centre stripe and red fender hash marks is deep and glossy in the macro close-ups, panels and door gaps look even, black five-spoke wheels clean.
- Grand Sport badges are photographed on the fenders, and the colours are the right ones — but a '96 Grand Sport's value is its VIN sequence and LT4, and neither is evidenced by a photo here; authenticity is a paperwork check.
- No interior photo in the sample — the cabin is only glimpsed through the open top at a distance, so seat and trim wear can't be judged.
- No engine-bay photo — the LT4 is never shown, so the engine that's meant to justify the model can't be judged or verified.
- No underside photo and no odometer photo — chassis condition and mileage are both unverified.
Money: at $34,979 this is actually soft money for a genuine Grand Sport convertible — which is exactly why the missing evidence matters: confirm the VIN sequence and LT4 on paper before treating it as a bargain rather than a tribute.
