About this car
1962 Chevrolet Corvette at Unique Classic Cars in Bassett Dr Mankato, MN, $59,900. Red over Interior Color Black, 71,715 miles, 4 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Red paint is glossy and even across the fibreglass body, chrome bumpers and trim are bright, and the panels look straight in the walk-around set.
- Black soft top looks fresh and taut with a clear rear window in the top-up photos — no fading or sagging visible.
- Black interior is very tidy — seats without visible wear, clean dash top and grab bar, correct-style radio and clock, white-knob 4-speed shifter; the cluster photographs the odometer at 71,749.
- Door sills and jambs in the close-ups are painted and clean, with bright sill plates.
- No engine-bay photo appears in the 16 viewed — can't judge the engine or whether it is the born-with motor.
- No underside photo either — on a C1 the frame is less of a worry than the numbers, but it is still unseen here.
Money: at $59,900 the body, top and interior photos support a strong driver C1 — the value question is the engine's originality, and the bay never appears in this sample, so verify the numbers in person.
