About this car
1964 Chevrolet Corvette at Vanguard Motor Sales in Keel St. Plymouth, MI, $169,900. Saddle Bronze over - Saddle Brown Vinyl Interior - Bucket Seats -, 54,466 miles, 4 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Saddle-tan metallic paint is deep and glossy on every panel in the showroom set, the fibreglass looks straight and the chrome bumpers and rocker trim are bright — a restored, stock C2 convertible.
- Knock-off-style wheels with whitewall tyres keep the period look; badging and lamps in the close-ups all look fresh.
- Engine bay appears once: an orange 327 small-block with a chrome air cleaner and tidy detailing in a black bay — correct and clean as photographed.
- The convertible top is down in every photo and never shown raised, so the soft top's condition simply can't be judged from this set.
- Interior is only glimpsed through the windscreen and from above — tan seats look clean at that distance, but there's no proper cabin photo in the 16 viewed, so wear can't be judged.
- Underside is only visible in one low rear shot, dark and shadowed — the spare carrier and exhaust look intact, but the frame can't be judged from it.
- One frame is a dealer service advert, not a photo of the car.
Money: at $169,900 the body, paint and bay support a top restored C2, but the soft top, cabin detail and frame are all effectively unseen — those three checks decide whether the ask is fully earned.
