About this car
1965 Chevrolet Corvette at Unique Classic Cars in Bassett Dr Mankato, MN, $64,900. Silver over Interior Color Black, 62,807 miles, 4 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Silver '65 Corvette convertible at Unique Classic Cars — checked frame by frame, all 16 photos are this car (a clean Unique gallery); glossy paint, side pipes, and both tops are shown: the grey soft top raised and the colour-matched removable hardtop fitted.
- Black leather interior looks tidy and original-style; the cluster close-ups read 62,607 on the odometer.
- The sill and side-pipe close-up shows honest age — scuffed sill plate and weathered trim at the door base, a step behind the glossy wide shots.
- Engine bay is never photographed in the 16 viewed — the engine is the value item on a mid-year Corvette and it goes unseen.
- Underside is never photographed in the 16 viewed, so frame and birdcage condition can't be judged at all.
Money: at $64,900 the two-tops presentation is attractive, but C2 money is decided by the engine stamp, frame and birdcage — none of which these photos show, so the inspection carries the price.
