About this car
1966 Chevrolet Corvette at Volo Auto Museum Sales in Volo Village Rd. Volo, IL, $1,000. Blue over Black, 4 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Light blue paint is glossy and the coupe's panels photograph straight in the studio set; it sits on knock-off-style wheels with whitewall tyres, chrome bright.
- Black interior is clean and stock-presented; the odometer reads 68,842.
- Engine bay holds a 327 with a chrome air cleaner in stock dress, and the seller photographs the documentation: the VIN plate, the engine stamp pad (which ends in the HT suffix) and a frame stamp — the numbers story is there to be checked (details not reproduced here).
- The underside is never shown in full in the 16 viewed — only the stamp close-ups — so the frame and birdcage can't be judged overall.
- The gallery's final four frames are other Corvettes in the dealer's stock (a black C2 coupe with award boards, a red C2 convertible, the black '62 convertible also in this data set, and a white C8), appended at the end of the gallery.
Money: the $1,000 in the data is a placeholder, not an ask — this photographs as a documented, high-grade C2 coupe, so get the real price from the seller and have the photographed numbers verified in person before valuing it.
