About this car
1966 Chevrolet Corvette at Volo Auto Museum Sales in Volo Village Rd. Volo, IL, $114,998. Blue over White, 5 Speed Manual
What the photos show
- Nassau Blue paint is glossy and straight, chrome is bright, and it sits on knock-off-style wheels with goldline tyres.
- White interior is photographed in depth — seats and door cards look fresh against the blue dash and carpet, wood-rim wheel, and the odometer reads 34,759.
- The VIN plate is photographed, so the car's identity and codes can be checked against the listing.
- Two of the final frames are the same gauge macro used twice — filler rather than extra coverage.
- Engine bay never appears in the 16 viewed — can't judge the engine or its detailing.
- Underside doesn't appear in the 16 viewed either — frame and birdcage can't be judged, and those decide a C2's value.
Money: at $114,998 the paint and cabin photograph superbly, but with no bay or underside photo, the engine and frame checks still have to happen in person.
