1968 Chevrolet Corvette

• White paint is glossy and even across the showroom set, chrome bumpers bright, redline tyres on Rally wheels; the fibreglass shows no stress cracks in these photos.
• Both tops are photographed: the white removable hardtop fitted in one shot and the black soft top raised in others, its fabric looking taut with a clear rear window — a genuine two-top car on the photos.
• Red leather interior is excellent in close-up: seats show no splits or heavy creasing, door cards and dash are clean, 4-speed manual with a tidy console; an aftermarket head unit is the only modern touch.
• No engine-bay photo in the 16 viewed — can't judge the engine or bay, and on a '68 the engine spec is the price.
• No underside photo — the frame and birdcage can't be judged, and birdcage rust is the C3's expensive secret; it must be inspected in person.
• No legible odometer figure in the sample — the cluster is photographed but the mileage figures can't be read reliably.

Money: at $36,900 a two-top, 4-speed '68 in these colours is fairly priced if the birdcage and frame are clean — the photos can't prove that, so the inspection, not the shine, decides.
